Central Office

The Central Office is located at 1455 S. 4th Ave – Suite 4 in Yuma and is open every day (except Sunday) 11:00AM – 1:00PM. Please stop by to buy some literature, check out our Yuma AA history displays, or just to say Hi.

Why Support the Intergroup?

The Intergroup is a committee of volunteers made up of representatives from A.A. groups in the Yuma, Arizona area. It exists as the servant of it’s member groups with the purpose of carrying the message to alcoholics. The Intergroup is able to provide services that would be too much for the individual groups to handle by themselves, such as:

  • Maintain the Central Office
  • 24-hour telephone helpline
  • Distribution of AA literature
  • Protect & display our Yuma AA historical materials
  • Collect & distribute meeting information
  • Publish the Yuma AA newsletter
  • Maintain the Yuma AA website
  • Liaison among the AA groups
  • Information center for the general public
  • Sponsor special events for all groups

Who needs it and who supports it?

We all do! Intergroup uses donations contributed by groups in the area to carry on its functions. Your group support is needed to make sure that Intergroup can give us and the community the services we need. “When anyone anywhere reaches out for help, I want the hand of A.A. always to be there. And for that I am responsible.”

To register a new group, or change existing group information, please return the completed form to the Central Office (by email or drop it off). The form can be picked up at the Central Office or printed below. It’s needed for two reasons:

  1. This form allows the Intergroup to contact the group representative and provide any necessary information and communications to the member groups.
  2. The Intergroup has liability insurance with Secura. Our policy includes an endorsement that covers “Club Members”, which in our case are member groups. This endorsement provides liability insurance to our groups while they are in scheduled meetings and is sometimes required in order to use the premises. The endorsement only covers groups that have a current copy of this form on file at the Intergroup Office.
Selecting the following form allows it to be printed. The following groups have submitted their Group Info forms to the Central Office.
